Position: Construction Engineer for Highway Projects
Location: Central Foothills (Sundre)

Be a key player in highway construction as a Construction Engineer in Red Deer. This role involves project management, team coordination, and ensuring adherence to construction standards.

This position focuses on the planning and execution of highway rehabilitation and construction projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and quality, while collaborating across various functional areas to address challenges efficiently.

Your role will also involve conducting site visits to oversee compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning and administration tasks

• Manage project budget and resource allocation

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery

• Review technical documentation and tender specifications

• Conduct site visits for construction oversight

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil Engineering or related fields

• Five years of progressively responsible experience required

• Professional membership eligibility with APEGA (P.Eng.)

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Extensive knowledge of construction processes and specifications
