Schedule:

7 on / 7 off, 12 Hours/day, ON-CALL, Schedule as per Operational Requirements

Location:

Bruderheim, AB - 570079 Range Rd 204,  non-camp position, required to live in the area,  approximately 12 km north of Bruderheim on Range Road 204
Essential:  Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions
Requirements:
Personal Reliable Vehicle
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6  ankle support
Clean Driver's Abstract, Valid Driver's License
Pre-employment:
Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
Mask Fit Testing
Baseline Testing (respiratory)
Safety Coordinator   Responsibilities:
Provide support, direction, and training to supervisors and employees.
Prepare and attend safety meetings.
Perform safety coaching opportunities in the field.
Coordinate and carry out prompt investigations of workplace incidents.
Assist in conducting formal and informal safety audits.
Generate incident reports and hazard assessments, and provide recommendations and implement corrective actions.
Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings and initiatives.
Use of online safety database system to file site safety documents.
This position may include short travel, depending on projects.
Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Safety Coordinator

Qualifications:

Detailed knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Experience working in an active plant setting.
Must have good understanding of Industrial Hygiene, especially with Silica.
Must have the ability to perform ACSA audit.
Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
Must be a team player.
