Join Imperial Metal as a Junior Estimator Level I, focusing on construction project estimations and bid preparation. This role is an ideal entry point for aspiring estimators.

In this position, you will assist in preparing comprehensive cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects. You'll be working under the Sales Manager, reviewing construction documents and performing material takeoffs with meticulous attention to detail. This role is tailored for candidates keen to learn and grow in estimating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and process bid requests and related documentation in Planner

• Review project plans for accuracy before estimating

• Assemble working drawing sets for effective estimating

• Utilize Bluebeam for structured document management

• Conduct accurate material takeoffs to facilitate estimates

Requirements:

• Background or education in construction estimating is a plus

• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings effectively

• Familiarity with Bluebeam, SharePoint, and Power Fab advantageous

• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail

• Demonstrated eagerness to learn estimating processes
