Embark on a new career path as a Heavy Equipment Operator Apprentice with Maritime Civil & Energy Limited during the construction of a windfarm in Juniper, NB. This competitive rotational role provides thorough training in safe equipment operation.
You will take on an important role within earthworks and infrastructure development, fostering collaboration with site supervisors and crews. By demonstrating your commitment to safety and excellence, you will gain hands-on experience operating a range of heavy equipment. No prior experience required, but a background in construction is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators, loaders, and dozers on construction sites
• Perform inspections and basic maintenance on heavy equipment
• Follow detailed project plans and specifications
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors
• Complete required apprenticeship training sessions
Requirements:
• Previous heavy equipment experience is not necessary
• Relevant construction or labor background preferred
• Valid driver’s license required for the role
• Ability to adapt to a camp-based work environment
• Strong focus on teamwork and safety
