Position: Project Safety Coordinator for Construction
Location: North Island, Sunshine Coast, and Southern Gulf Islands (Whistler)

Become a Project Safety Coordinator at Maple Reinders in Pemberton, British Columbia. Shape a safer construction environment through effective health and safety strategies.

In this role, you'll collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with Maple Reinders' safety standards. Your responsibilities will include developing safety plans, facilitating training, and conducting inspections to mitigate risks on site. You'll also lead investigations into incidents and help foster a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective safety programs

• Conduct comprehensive site inspections regularly

• Assist in incident investigations and reporting

• Complete safety training for staff and contractors

• Mentor project teams on health and safety practices

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in construction safety

• Solid educational background in Occupational Health and Safety

• Strong communication and mentoring skills

• NCSO designation required (CRSP preferred)

• Willingness to travel to various project locations
