Step into a pivotal role at Frontier-Kemper as a Construction Manager dedicated to Tunnel Boring Machine projects in Squamish, BC. Oversee high-stakes civil construction projects while adhering to rigorous quality and safety measures.
In this position, you will report to the Project Manager, ensuring the procurement processes and project activities stay on schedule.
Your role includes coordinating communication between subcontractors, clients, and various project stakeholders. With hands-on experience in TBM operations, you will help integrate new methodologies to optimize production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project budgeting and risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain project timelines
• Lead regular status meetings with clients and consultants
• Monitor construction progress and ensure quality compliance
• Integrate innovative technologies into existing projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of Tunnel Boring Machine operations experience
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in heavy civil or mining
• Extensive knowledge of Herrenknecht equipment
• Preferred: OSHA 30 and MSHA Instructor certifications
