Position: Dynamic Broadcast Operator for Live Racing Events
Location: Cactus Lake

Elevate live racing coverage as a Broadcast Operator. Operate cameras and photo finish equipment, ensuring high-quality video and imagery while collaborating closely with the production team.

This role requires setup and live operation of broadcast equipment within a thrilling racing environment. Engage in shooting live footage and manage photo finish operations for thoroughbred and standardbred races, adhering to regulatory standards. Your technical aptitude, knowledge of broadcast operations, and ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere are crucial to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare camera equipment for broadcasts

• Operate big lens cameras under producer supervision

• Ensure white balance and video quality

• Manage photo finish computer and camera systems

• Assist in calibrating equipment and troubleshooting issues

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in television production or photography

• Experience in control room or field production

• General knowledge of broadcast equipment operation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in various weather
