We are seeking an energetic, community‑minded reporter with a passion for writing accurate and engaging stories to cover all Town of Rocky news and related assignments.
Responsibilities:
Conduct themselves in a respectful manner and dress appropriately.
Cover all Town of Rocky news, including regular council meetings (first and third Tuesdays of the month).
Generate content for special sections.
Write and photograph breaking news, sports, industry coverage, politics, feature, and outdoor/environmental assignments.
Work flex‑time, including some weekend and evening assignments.
Qualifications:
Journalism diploma or certificate.
Adherence to journalism ethics and the news media code of practice.
Personal transportation and camera.
