Your role will be crucial in maintaining organization and efficiency.

This position functions as a pivotal support to the Executive Managing Editor. You will engage with Acquisition Editors, Production Editors, and freelancers, ensuring smooth editorial transitions from title acceptance to printer-ready files. Essential tasks include managing data integrity, project schedules, and freelance management alongside editorial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform title setups and manage metadata changes

• Support editorial tasks like proof readings and prepress checks

• Coordinate softcover conversion and special projects

• Facilitate Pub Board and Sales Conference preparations

• Oversee cover routing and product packaging checks

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of project management experience

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

• B.A. in English or related field

• Strong knowledge of the publishing industry

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
