Seasonal Kiosk Receptionist at Newmarket

Location: Ontario Centre (Queensville)

Become part of the Town of Newmarket's Recreation team as a Kiosk Receptionist for the  season. Deliver outstanding customer service while managing payments and assisting community members.

As a Seasonal Kiosk Receptionist, you will engage directly with the public at the Recreation Youth Centre and telMAX Indoor Skate Park. This entry-level role requires excellent customer service, cash management skills, and the ability to handle inquiries professionally. Your contributions will support the execution of high-quality recreational programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with payment transactions and issue receipts

• Maintain cash floats and prepare daily deposits

• Process admissions and registrations for programs

• Address inquiries and complaints professionally

• Provide updates on shift issues to the Recreation Programmer

Requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Experience with cash handling and Microsoft Office

• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

• Police Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
