Join Strathcona County Emergency Services as a 911 Call Processing Specialist. This role focuses on efficiently answering and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, ensuring clear communication.

We’re offering two hourly positions for individuals dedicated to serving the community. As a 911 Call Processing Specialist, you'll engage directly with callers, ensuring all necessary information is accurately collected.

Your role enhances the effectiveness of emergency services in Strathcona County and surrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer 911 calls quickly and accurately

• Transfer calls to the correct agencies as needed

• Maintain compliance with quality management standards

• Keep information confidential as per regulations

• Record information to support operational improvements

Requirements:

• Experience in emergency communications preferred

• Proficient with computer-aided dispatch tools

• Excellent stress management and multitasking skills

• Strong communication capabilities under pressure

• Geography knowledge of Strathcona County is an asset
