Recreation Customer Service Specialist

Location: Dufferin County (Shelburne)

Provide exceptional front-line support at recreation facilities with the Town of Caledon. As a Recreation Customer Service Specialist, you will handle payments and assist patrons both in person and over the phone.

This casual role directly reports to the Coordinator, Recreation Customer Service. Your responsibilities will include processing various transactions, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring promotional material is up-to-date. By showcasing superior customer service skills, you will help create a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments for bookings and program registrations

• Perform administrative tasks like incident reports

• Maintain promotional material for the facility

• Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures

• Provide program information to patrons

Requirements:

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office

• Previous experience in a municipal recreation setting is an asset

• Superior communication skills in verbal and written

• Ability to work independently and within a team
