Position: BC Public Service Customer Service Role
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

Serve the public and support your community as a Customer Service Representative with the BC Public Service. This on-site role emphasizes inclusivity and exceptional service.

Join the In-Person Services Team and engage with a diverse clientele at this established Service Delivery office. As a Customer Service Representative, you will manage in-person, phone, and digital interactions, applying your skills in data entry and application processing. You'll have a direct positive impact while following government procedures, ensuring every individual's needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service in-person, by phone, and online

• Review applications and process payments accurately

• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records

• Offer inclusive solutions that align with government guidelines

• De-escalate challenging situations with clients effectively

Requirements:

• Grade 12 graduation or equivalent

• Proven experience in inclusive customer service

• Ability to manage high volumes in varied environments

• Skilled in digital applications and databases

• Flexibility to travel for relief coverage when needed
