Dentistry Community Health Hygienist

Location: Northwestern Ontario (Red Lake)

Become a key member of our health care field in Kenora as a Dental Hygienist. Support community oral health initiatives while working with a variety of age groups in a full-time role.

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll report to the Dental Health manager and collaborate with community partners to promote oral health, conduct screenings, and implement preventive clinics. This full-time position requires commitment, interaction with diverse populations, and a passion for community health improvement, offering an opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and deliver oral health education

• Conduct comprehensive dental screenings and assessments

• Implement preventive care including scaling and root planing

• Work closely with health teams and First Nations agencies

• Provide Interim Stabilization Technique for clients

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree from accredited dental hygiene program

• Registration or eligibility with the CDHO

• Strong experience in community clinic settings

• Proven ability in communication and database programs

• Flexibility for travel and irregular hours
