Castle Crossing Dental, nestled in the heart of picturesque Pincher Creek, AB, a stone's throw away from Waterton National Park, is seeking a talented RDA II to join our team!
With flexible hours ranging from 14 to 36 per week and a competitive wage of $27 to $31 per hour, this opportunity offers more than just a job - it's a lifestyle.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide high-quality patient care.
Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and organized dental office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental office environment
Experience:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Must have Prostho Module
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Experience in orthodontics a plus
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
