Part Time Dental Hygienist in Williams Lake

Location: Cariboo and West Okanagan (100 Mile House)

Join Williams Lake Health Unit as a part time Dental Hygienist. Provide essential dental care and community outreach in a beautiful outdoor setting.

This relief position requires a Registered Dental Hygienist to work on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 08:30 to 16:30. You will deliver clinical services including dental screenings, fluoride application, and patient education. Collaboration with community health programs is vital to address diverse dental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental health surveys, screenings, and referrals

• Teach dental health in community settings

• Develop strategies for targeted populations

• Maintain clinical equipment and inventory

• Compile dental data for monitoring and evaluation

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene

• Current BC registration as a Dental Hygienist

• At least one year of relevant experience

• Valid BC driver’s license

• Completion of the National Dental Hygiene Certification Exam
