Join Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services as a Dental Assistant, where you will engage with and educate children on dental health.

Your role is vital in promoting effective dental care.

The position involves supporting the Dental Therapist and assisting during various dental procedures in Lac La Ronge Band Schools. You will impart important oral hygiene information and ensure thorough documentation of client interactions. Engaging with the community, you will help address dental health needs and promote education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Fluoride Treatments to children

• Guide clients on proper brushing and flossing techniques

• Schedule and ensure appointments are confirmed

• Maintain client documentation and records

• Uphold infection control measures and positive client relations

Requirements:

• Dental Assistant certification and registration or eligibility with Saskatchewan Dental Assistants Association

• Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with willingness to travel

• Experience with First Nations communities and knowledge of Cree is a plus
