Senior Urban Designer Ontario WSP

Location: North Peel Regional Municipality (Kleinburg)

Enhance community spaces as a Senior Urban Designer with WSP in the Greater Toronto Area. Lead complex projects while fostering growth in junior architects and designers.

As a part of WSP's team, you will manage landscape architecture and urban design initiatives, guiding projects from concept through to construction. This position emphasizes the creation of engaging public spaces like parks and infrastructure, while also contributing to business development. You will have the opportunity to mentor emerging professionals, ensuring a collaborative environment and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead urban design projects from concept to execution

• Create vibrant public parks and communal spaces

• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams

• Engage in proposal development and business initiatives

• Mentor junior landscape architects and support their growth

Requirements:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture with 12+ years of experience

• OALA member in good standing or equivalent

• Demonstrated project leadership and administration skills

• Advanced competency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up

• Effective communicator capable of engaging diverse audiences
