Learn Formula is seeking experienced and articulate Canadian architectural professionals to develop engaging, high-quality continuing education content for architects across Canada. This is a contract position with competitive compensation based on the length and complexity of recorded content.

About the Role:

This opportunity is ideal for licensed architects with deep subject matter expertise and a passion for sharing knowledge. Whether you specialize in sustainable design, building codes, construction documentation, project management, heritage conservation, or emerging technologies like BIM and parametric design—we welcome candidates comfortable creating slideshow presentations and recording their own video courses, or those open to collaborating with our production support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create self-recorded or supported video content on specialized architectural topics
• Collaborate with Learn Formula’s content and production teams to structure and refine material for online learning
• Ensure content aligns with the requirements of Canadian licensing bodies (e.g., RAIC, OAA, AIBC) and meets continuing education standards
• Propose and contribute new course topics based on emerging trends, innovations, and regulatory developments in Canadian architecture

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed architect in Canada in good standing with a provincial architectural association (e.g., OAA, AIBC, AAA, etc.)
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more key practice areas (e.g., design, building science, urban planning, project delivery)
• Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or professional development
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable presenting on camera in either structured or conversational formats

Preferred Experience:

• Experience delivering webinars, online training, or recorded educational content
• Interest in thought leadership or online education
• Familiarity with techniques to enhance audience engagement in virtual learning

Compensation:

CAD $250 per hour of recorded video content or a 50/50 revenue share on course sales.

(Rates vary based on subject matter, expertise, and production complexity.)

After the first recording, rates may range from CAD $100 to $500 per recorded hour depending on the topic and presenter experience.
