Overview
We are seeking a Landscape Architectural Technician / Designer to join our growing team. This opportunity is well suited to both experienced professionals and motivated early-career candidates looking to develop practical skills in landscape design and construction.

The successful candidate will assist with preparing landscape designs and technical drawings, conducting site assessments, and coordinating with project managers and field crews to help bring outdoor projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

Prepare landscape design layouts, technical drawings, and construction details

Assist with planting plans, hardscape layouts, grading concepts, and drainage solutions

Conduct site measurements, assessments, and field verifications

Prepare material takeoffs, quantities, and technical documentation

Coordinate with project managers, crew leaders, and clients to support project delivery

Review site conditions and recommend design or technical adjustments as required

Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and revisions

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Technology, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred but not required

Relevant hands-on experience in landscape design, drafting, construction, or related work will also be considered

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Vectorworks, or similar design software is an asset

Understanding of landscape construction methods, materials, and grading/drainage principles

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Valid Driver’s License

Requirements

Must be willing to relocate

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Wage: $28–$38 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Starting rate dependent on experience, education and ability to work independently. Wage negotiation available after 3 months based on performance.
