In this community you can practice GP Anesthesia 1-5 days a week, with 1:4 or 1:5 nights of call depending on the department size. We work in a stimulating environment ensuring we maintain our skills. We support General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dental procedures and visiting Orthopedic Surgeons, primarily focusing on knee and hip replacements. Experience would be an asset but we have the capacity to mentor new graduates.

GP Anesthetists in Williams Lake can expect to have a highly collaborative and interactive medical setting as well as the opportunity to educate medical students and family practice residents.

Responsibilities

Practice GP Anesthesia 1-5 days per week.

Provide call coverage with a 1:4 or 1:5 rotation, depending on department size.

Collaborate with General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dental procedures and visiting Orthopedic Surgeons, primarily focusing on knee and hip replacements.

Educate medical students and family practice residents in a collaborative medical setting.

Mentor and support new graduates where applicable.

Qualifications

Experience would be an asset, but there is capacity to mentor new graduates.
