Eligible to hold a clinical faculty appointment at UBC and BCCA.

Requisites

Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License

Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)

Mandatory Obstetric

Responsibilities

Provide clinical services, including new patient visits/consultations and appropriate medical/surgical care, associated follow-up visits, and ongoing monitoring.

Perform colposcopic procedures and associated treatment procedures for early detection/prevention of cancer.

Provide on-call services in Gynecology Oncology in Victoria.

Participate in the gynaecology tumour group at the BCCA, including evaluation of efficiency, quality, and delivery of services, medical audits, peer and interdisciplinary reviews, chart reviews, and incident report reviews.

As a faculty member within the UBC Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, involve learners in all aspects of clinical activity, participate in program development and student evaluation.

Support research and investigation in Gynaecologic Oncology and participate in continuing professional development.
