Family Physician ROS Family Practice

A full-service family practice in a rural community.

The practice has approximately 1, patients with a wide demographic. There are 5 physicians and one NP working in the clinic. Each physician has two office spaces with exam tables and computers. There is a shared treatment room where excisions and punch biopsies can be performed.

Clinic staffing includes 5 MOA staff, one LPN, and billing support.

The clinic also provides care to patients at a long-term care facility across the street and shares call 1 in 5 (one week), which is not onerous and is well remunerated.

UCC, X-ray, and lab services are located across the street from the clinic.

Clinic has a physician associateship agreement that outlines overhead for all physicians in the clinic - works out to about 25%

Benefits

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including (subject to change):

Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10, (pro-rated based on FTE)
Relocation: up to a maximum of $15, (amount based on location relocating from)
Flat Fee: $6,.80
Fee Premium: 4.20%
CME: $2,/annum years 3–4 and $4,/annum after 4 years in the community
