Job Description

We are currently seeking a Family Physician to join the Riverside Health Complex in Turtleford, Saskatchewan, located in the North West area.

The Riverside Health Complex delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families through innovation, collaboration, and a holistic approach to health and wellness. Our integrated team supports the community across the full continuum of care.

Services and team members at the Riverside Health Complex include a Primary Care Group Physician Practice, Medical Clinic, 24-hour Emergency Room, Nurse Practitioners, Ambulance Services, Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging, Public Health, Home Care, and Physiotherapy.

Additional visiting and support services include a Dietitian, Addictions Services, Clinical Nurse Educator, Family Counseling, and Occupational Therapy. The team is further supported by an Aboriginal Liaison and a Quality Care Coordinator (Client Advocate), ensuring culturally responsive and patient-focused care.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.

Job Qualifications

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.

To be eligible you must hold certification from the or have successfully completed SIPPA and be eligible for a license to practice family medicine in Saskatchewan.

The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Medicine in the North West Area.
