Make a difference as a Physician Pulmonologist at the Veterans Affairs in VANCHCS. This position emphasizes patient care for complex pulmonary conditions in critical care settings.
As a qualified physician, you will provide evaluations and treatments while performing procedures such as bronchoscopy. The role requires Board Certification in Internal Medicine and proficiency in both English and clinical practices. Previous experience in the ICU and academic involvement is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients with complex pulmonary issues
• Conduct procedural tasks like bronchoscopy and thoracentesis
• Document extensive medical information in CPRS
• Oversee Respiratory Therapists during consultations
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities
Requirements:
• Valid U.S. medical license required
• Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care
• ICU experience along with procedural capabilities
• Effective communication skills in English
• Physical ability to perform necessary functions
