Persons employed or residing within a 75-kilometer radius of L’Anse aux Meadows or Port au Choix, NL who have a legal status to work in Canada.
Parks Canada Agency considers applications from students who have legal status to work in Canada. Please indicate in your application the reason for which you are entitled to work in Canada:
Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or work permit.
To be considered for employment under one of the student employment programs, the individual must be:
• registered as a full-time or part-time secondary or post-secondary student in an accredited academic program (or for a maximum of four months immediately following their final academic term).
• or participating in adult education and retraining programs at the secondary level, operated under the authority of an accredited academic institution.
• and should meet the minimum age requirement to be employed in the province or territory of work.

About the position
DutiesStudent Heritage Communicator
Deliver on-site programs for specific audience needs using a variety of new and innovative approaches. Greet and orient visitors, respond to questions and provide information about National Historic Sites, Gros Morne National Park, other sites in the Field Unit, Parks Canada, and the surrounding areas.
