Sustainable Camp Activity Coordinator

Drive sustainability programs in a camp setting as a Camp Coordinator. Engage youth in hands-on green initiatives focusing on nature conservation, recycling, and interactive education.

This part-time, seasonal role is dedicated to developing and delivering nature-based activities for children and teens aged 4 to 16. Responsibilities include overseeing the recycling program, delivering educational adventures like gardening, and fostering camper engagement through enjoyable outdoor activities. Strong interpersonal skills will help create a nurturing and inclusive camp atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement educational green programs for children

• Supervise recreational activities ensuring camper safety

• Maintain lost and found management to limit waste

• Oversee recycling practices within the camp

• Organize nature experiences and gardening activities

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 16 by June 2026

• First Aid and CPR 'C' certification required

• Valid work authorization in Canada mandatory

• Police Record check must be current (within 6 months)

• Preferred knowledge in land-based outdoor education

Engage campers through enriching programs and promote a strong sense of environmental responsibility at camp.
