Position: Temporary Full-Time Grade 5 Teacher
Location: Central Alberta (Stettler)

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full‑time Grade 5 teaching position hony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. The position will begin August 26, 2026 and end June 25, 2027.
Ability to assist in the school’s co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possession of a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph’s College is an asset.
The Government of Canada offers Student Loan Forgiveness to teachers who work in Drayton Valley for 10 consecutive months and have a student loan in good standing. Up to $30,000 may be received over a maximum of 5 years. Canada Student Loan Forgiveness
St. Anthony School serves approximately 470 students from Pre‑Kindergarten to Grade 8 in a Christ‑centered environment, offering a wide variety of extra‑curricular activities.
Applicants should include two reference letters; a pastoral reference would be considered an asset. Successful applicants will be required to submit a current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of a vulnerable sector check and a current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months).
