Location: Sherwood Park West
Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the education needs of approximately 17,750 students in 43 schools. EIPS is recruiting a part-time (0.915 FTE) Teacher at Davidson Creek Elementary. A portion of this assignment will consist of teaching kindergarten, following the Schedule A calendar. Non-kindergarten days will consist of teaching other Division 1 classes.
Davidson Creek Elementary serves approximately 620 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 28 teaching staff and 15 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
