Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)

Become a vital part of the music community as a Lessons Teacher at Long & McQuade in Burlington, ON. Teach a variety of instruments, providing enriching experiences for students of all ages.

Long & McQuade is hiring independent Lessons Teachers for its Lesson Centres. Suitable candidates should hold a music degree or diploma, or have achieved Grade 8 RCM standing or professional equivalency. A strong background in teaching students of various ages and familiarity with standard teaching methods is critical for lasting student impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach piano, guitar, drums, and other instruments effectively

• Design and implement individualized lesson structures

• Encourage student participation and enthusiasm for music

• Monitor student advancement and modify lessons as necessary

• Create a welcoming and productive teaching environment

Requirements:

• University or college music degree/diploma

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Solid previous experience in music education

• Expertise in lesson structuring for private/group instruction

• Ability to apply effective teaching methodologies
