Location: Kamloops North

Port Moody Pacific Grace MB Church (PMPGMBC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to lead and nurture our youth ministry, guiding students from Grade 7 through college to grow in faith and become disciples of Christ.

As an evangelical church with a strong vision for raising the next generation, we currently serve over 40 teens across our English and Cantonese congregations. We are eager to see our youth ministry continue to flourish as a vibrant community that connects youth to Christ.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversee the youth ministry (primarily English Speaking) of our church.

Assist transition of Chinese speaking youth to English speaking group.

Collaborate with children’s and adult ministries to ensure a shared vision and continuity of care.

Lead youth fellowship, Sunday School, retreats, youth worship, and other programs that encourage discipleship and spiritual growth.

Plan and participate in outreach initiatives to engage youth outside the church.

Develop curriculum and resources for youth ministry programs.

Recruit, mentor, and equip youth leaders.

Build strong, trusting relationships with youth and provide pastoral care and counseling.

Establish and manage the annual youth ministry budget.

Qualifications

Theological or related training, with relevant church ministry experience.

A committed follower of Christ, actively growing spiritually and living according to biblical principles.

Alignment with the beliefs, values, and vision of PMPGMBC.

A genuine heart and passion for youth ministry.

Must be fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese is an asset.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Must pass a criminal background check.

Hours

Full-time position (40 hours per week).
