The librarian is directly responsible to the principal for the administration and overall operation of the school library and Learning Commons. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and the school community.

The librarian:

Fosters curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Encourages responsible digital and information literacy.

Provides equitable access to resources in both print and digital formats.

Creates a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all learners.

Supports curriculum goals by partnering with teachers and staff in instructional planning and resource use.
