Join Morrin School as a dedicated Library Support Specialist, tasked with enriching the Learning Commons for students and staff. Facilitate library services and ensure resources are accessible and efficiently managed.

We are looking for a proactive individual to support our school library operations, from managing the circulation of materials to providing reference services and audio-visual support. This role requires collaboration with students in fostering literacy through various library activities. Emphasis on organizational skills is crucial to maintaining an effective resource hub.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students and staff navigate library resources

• Implement literacy initiatives and programming

• Handle circulation, classifications, and acquisitions

• Assist with technical support and administrative duties

• Keep learning resources organized in management systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma necessary; prefer post-secondary education

• Computer skills in Microsoft Office required

• Proven time management and organizational abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

• Commitment to working 17.5 hours per week
