Join Northlands College as an Electrical Program Instructor and empower future electricians in Creighton, SK. Required qualifications include a Red Seal Journeyperson certificate and two years of field experience.

The college invites applications for the Instructor role in the Electrical Program, set to teach various topics from Electrical Theory to Safety Practices. This teaching contract spans 114 Instruction days starting February 16, 2027, and offers a platform to mentor the next generation of electrical professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and practical experience in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Introductory Electrical Theory and Practices

• Instruct on Conductors and Branch Circuits

• Lead courses on Extra Low Voltage systems

• Oversee Safety and Personal Protective Equipment instruction

• Prepare students in essential Mathematics for Electricians

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Journeyperson certification

• 2+ years of experience in electrical work

• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel for instruction

• Strong communication and teaching skills

• Understanding of Northern Saskatchewan's social realities
