Location: Cariboo and West Okanagan (100 Mile House)

Elevate education in the Cariboo-Chilcotin region as an Assistant Superintendent starting August 1, 2026. Lead initiatives aimed at fostering student achievement and community engagement.

The Cariboo-Chilcotin School District seeks a dedicated leader with experience in educational settings. This position will contribute to a collaborative leadership culture focused on student success, integrating indigenous ideologies into practices.

Your role will involve partnerships with various stakeholders to enhance educational programs and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and support instruction improvement programs

• Collaborate to enhance student success initiatives

• Guide staff towards achieving educational goals

• Assist in developing the District Strategic Plan

• Review evaluations and guide educational improvements

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in education or a related discipline

• BC Teaching Certificate and prior senior leadership experience

• Knowledge and experience with indigenous community leadership

• Commitment to collaborative decision-making

• Evidence of effective leadership strategies
