Pioneer Middle School is looking for a dedicated educator for the 2026-27 school year. This part time role (0.75 FTE) encompasses a shared grade 8 home room and involves teaching Science 8, Math 8, PEW8, CEFL 8, and additional complementary courses. The schedule runs from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, commencing on August 24, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Science and Math

• Support student learning in Wellness and CEFL

• Facilitate grade 8 complementary courses

• Foster a positive and safe classroom environment

• Collaborate with staff on curriculum planning

Requirements:

• Alberta teaching certification is mandatory

• Recent Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector

• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion

• Experience in teaching at grade 8 level preferred

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
