Location: Chesley
Guide Grade 8-10 Indigenous students as a Temporary Teacher in the Landing Success program at Bluewater District School Board. Engage students through Health and Outdoor activities from June 29 to July 31, 2026.
You will facilitate learning for students aiming for credits in PAD1O or PAD2O. This role demands commitment to creating a dynamic learning environment, ensuring effective assessment and evaluation throughout the summer program, scheduled Monday to Thursday. Your support will help foster student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver curriculum-based instruction effectively
• Assess, evaluate, and report on student achievement
• Plan and supervise educational field trips
• Perform additional teaching duties as needed
Requirements:
• Registered teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Preferred qualifications in Health and Physical Education
• Knowledgeable about the Ontario Curriculum and assessment methods
• Clean vulnerable sector police check required
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
Lead an impactful summer learning experience for students in the Landing Success program.
