Position: Occasional Teacher with SGDSB
Location: Lake Superior North Shore (Marathon)

Enhance educational experiences as an Occasional Teacher with the Superior-Greenstone District School Board. This position is based in Geraldton, servicing two schools as needed.

The role of Dedicated Occasional Teacher (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). in maintaining high educational standards at B.A. Parker Public School and Marjorie Mills Public School. Qualified applicants must possess an Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate and hold a valid driver’s license, ensuring reliable transportation between the two sites. This role follows a trial framework lasting until the end of the 2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Substitute for absent teachers across two schools

• Travel between B.A. Parker and Marjorie Mills schools

• Attend designated work site and PD days

• Carry out assigned duties effectively

• Be available for lesson planning if necessary

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification

• Valid driver's license and vehicle access

• Consistent attendance in previous positions

• Experience in executing lesson plans preferred

• Comply with LTO Leave Benefits
