Position: Grade 5/6 Teacher Needed at HPEDSB
Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board invites applications for a 1.0 FTE Grade 5/6 Long Term Occasional Teacher role. This position is available immediately and requires a dedicated educator.

The selected candidate will teach at Kente Public School until June 26, 2026. Possession of an OCT certification is crucial, emphasizing the importance of quality education. Responsibilities include lesson planning, assessing student needs, and enhancing the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging curriculum for Grade 5/6

• Monitor and assess student academic performance

Requirements:

• Valid certification with the Ontario College of Teachers

• Proven experience in junior division teaching
