We are looking for a dedicated Math Teacher to fulfill a temporary role in the Palliser School Division. You will develop clear objectives aligned with Alberta Education standards while fostering an engaging learning environment. Responsibilities also include monitoring student performance, collaborating with staff, and preparing students for future academic challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate clear objectives for math classes

• Prepare and organize instructional materials effectively

• Use diverse teaching approaches to enhance learning

• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed student records

• Participate in professional development and staff meetings

Requirements:

• Alberta Teaching Certificate is required

• Demonstrated experience with junior high curriculum

• Background check within 3 months of hire

• Strong skills in student engagement and instruction

• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff
