Location: Central Foothills (Sundre)

Join Chinook’s Edge School Division as a full-time temporary Science and Math teacher at Innisfail High School for the  academic year. This role emphasizes building relationships and delivering engaging instruction in a supportive environment.

This full-time position is available from the start of the  school year to June 30, 2027, focusing on teaching Science and Math to Grades 9-12 students. Applicants should demonstrate strong pedagogical skills and have a collaborative approach to education. The successful candidate will prioritize inclusivity and engagement in their teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective Science and Math curriculum

• Foster strong relationships with students and colleagues

• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance learning

• Adapt teaching methods to support individual student needs

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate

• Previous teaching experience in relevant subjects preferred

• Must complete a criminal record and vulnerable sector check

• Exceptional instructional and collaborative skills required

• Commitment to engaging and inclusive education practices
