This permanent position at the Offshore Safety & Survival Centre involves delivering extensive theoretical and practical instruction to enhance emergency response capabilities. Applicants must have four years of relevant experience along with a related diploma, and training will take place primarily at the Foxtrap Campus, with occasional assignments in other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with risk management during training

• Deliver classes on marine survival and rescue operations

• Lead live-fire and open-water exercises

• Revise and develop training courses for best practices

• Perform necessary administrative tasks for course delivery

Requirements:

• At least four years of relevant marine experience

• Relevant diploma or equivalent education

• Valid Transport Canada Marine medical documentation

• Certificate of Competency as Second Class Engineer

• Preference for previous teaching or emergency management experience
