Southwest Fire Academy is on the lookout for seasoned instructors to expand its comprehensive training offerings. We provide training sessions during weekdays, weekends, and evenings, ensuring expert guidance across various fire service disciplines. Ideal candidates will meet qualifications and possess practical field experience to deliver high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safe training sessions maintaining a 5:1 student to instructor ratio

• Deliver instruction using industry-leading equipment

• Collaborate across different locations in Ontario for training

• Expand programs by bringing new certified instructors into the fold

• Evaluate student performance with constructive feedback

Requirements:

• Certified NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I and II

• Certified NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor Level I

• Practical experience in your teaching field

• Current First Aid / CPR / Defib certification

• Two letters of reference
