Location: Central Yukon (Dawson City)

As part of the Department of Education, you will provide direct support and consultation to students, families, and school staff across Yukon. This role emphasizes managing emotional, mental, and social challenges faced by students. Your expertise in mental health, crisis response, and community outreach will contribute to innovative educational strategies and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students and families

• Conduct assessments and crisis intervention

• Develop training and resources for educators

• Collaborate with First Nations and community service providers

• Participate in local events to build relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field

• Experience in social work services and case management

• Knowledge in crisis response and threat assessments

• Experience with children/youth facing social difficulties

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and security clearance
