Inclusion Coach - Teacher Coordinator

This position within the School Board Office focuses on inclusive education for diverse learners. You will work with School Based Teams, district staff, and Ministry personnel to create effective support systems. Your expertise in transition structures and individual plans will be vital in this crucial role, fostering collaboration and professional development in inclusive practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams supporting diverse student needs

• Develop transition structures and individualized plans

• Lead in-service workshops on Inclusive Education

• Consult on student regulation plans and assessments

• Support training in Competency Based Curriculum

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent

• Minimum five years of school-based experience

• Proven success as an Inclusion Support Teacher

• Experience in adult learning and professional development

• Certification in CPI:
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
