Educational Assistant at Ogema School

Support diverse student needs as an Educational Assistant at Ogema School. This temporary role emphasizes personal care, academic programming, and behavior management for students with high behavioral needs.

Located in Ogema, SK, this position runs from September 2, 2026, to June 25, 2027. Ideal candidates will hold a minimum Grade 12 diploma and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to student requirements. You will create life skills and academic programming, transport students, and provide personal hygiene support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with diverse and high behavioral needs

• Assist with personal hygiene and medical needs

• Prepare life skills and academic programs under teacher's direction

• Supervise intensive needs students and small groups

• Transport students using a personal vehicle as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution

• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 60-120 pounds

• Knowledge of school computer software

• Teamwork and adaptability skills

• Educational assistant diploma or relevant training preferred
