This temporary role spans from September 2, 2026, to June 25, 2027, focusing on 3 hours per day during school days. Candidates must be flexible to adapt their approaches while working collaboratively with teachers and students. Essential duties include planning life skills programming and attending to student hygiene and medical needs when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with diverse and high behavioral needs

• Prepare and plan student-based programming under teacher direction

• Transport students using personal vehicle when necessary

• Supervise students in both intensive needs and small groups

• Focus on behavior and safety plans for students

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma recognized by the Board of Education

• Valid driver's license for student transport

• Knowledge of school computer software

• Educational assistant diploma or similar qualifications preferred

• Ability to lift and assist students as required
