Job DescriptionFull time TERM French Immersion and Math Teacher at Ascension Collegiate until June 26, 2026. Duties to commence September 2, 2025.
As a French second language teacher you will have a critical role in ensuring student achievement as specified in the curriculum guides of French programs. You are committed to furthering the goals for student success in an inclusive, safe and caring bilingual environment. You subscribe to a "students first" philosophy in your practice and believe that collaboration is key for your growth as an educator.

- Knowledge and experience in appropriate second language literacy development through a variety of differentiated strategies and resources.
- Bachelor of Education - Secondary with French Major
- Minimum of B2 DELF Assessment (70% overall average with no less than 60% minimum in all 4 components)
- French First Language applicants may be considered
- Equivalencies will be considered
Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
Additional ConsiderationsApplicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01(d) of the provincial collective agreement.
