Bachelor of Education (Primary/Elementary).

Training Method:
Primary-Elementary.

Full‑time permanent Elementary Teacher (Co‑Teaching) at Morris Academy. Duties to commence September 2, 2025.

As a teacher, your work will focus on your application of the 7 Determinants of the School Development Model which are:

Evidence-based Decision Making, and Teachers as Learners.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities.
  • Demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices.
  • Provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning environment for students and families.
  • Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.
  • Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Appropriate Training Methods
  • Equivalencies will be considered

Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.

Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.

Interview Requirement:

Please note that candidates designated as Highly Recommended and Recommended in 2023 or 2024 individual or pool competitions will have that designation carried over for 2025 and will not require an interview for similar positions.
