Your role focuses on delivering enriching programming and fostering a supportive learning environment.

In this part-time seasonal position, facilitate a comprehensive Counsellor in Training program while working closely with other staff members to coordinate activities. You will mentor youth, helping them to develop essential skills while ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Your engagement and leadership will significantly influence their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate dynamic leadership programming

• Provide ongoing support and feedback to trainees

• Coordinate activities aligning with camp objectives

• Maintain a safe and supportive camp environment

• Serve as a role model of YMCA values

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or completed post-secondary studies

• First Aid & CPR-C certification mandatory

• Minimum one year of camp experience

• Background in youth leadership programming beneficial

• Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration
